New Sim--Hanako Sora (花子 昊)

So I made a new Sim today! I've been obsessed with Japanese names lately--they're just so cute! Moriko is cute--it means forest child. And Hanako is my favourite! It means flower child. How cute is that? So of course my newest Sims name is Hanako Sora (flower child, and sky.)This is the only picture I've taken of her so far--but more will come soon. 

Also-may as well put her name in Japanese as well. I'll break it down, too! The whole thing is 花子 昊 , while 花 is flower, 子 is child, and そら which is sky! It can also be written as 空 or そら.

Gone Home

I know this is a Sims blog, and I intend to post mostly Sims things, but from time to time, when I play a good enough game, I will be posting about that as well. This is one of those times.

My ex has told me about a game called Gone Home, and he told me that it was really sad and made him cry like a baby. I have always been a sucker for sad or heart-wrenching movies, games, book, etc. so I had it in my mind that I wanted to play it.

Again, I had seen it on some sites saying that it was a great game, so I decided to finally try it out, and I have to say, it was an incredible game.

It's not so much a game as it is an interactive story, really. You explore your empty home after returning from a trip across the world and a story begins to unravel, told through journal pages that your sister has written for you.

I highly recommend it if you have the time. There is no fighting and no scares or anything, it's just an exploration game with a deep story-line that gets pieced together as you go. The graphics are beautiful and the controls are great, the voices are lovely and it's incredibly clever. It doesn't take too long to finish.

Introduction of sorts...

Hello! If you are reading this, thank you, and welcome to my new blog! I haven't blogged in years, so bear with me. Here I will be posting anything related to The Sims--from custom content to pictures of my sims, to mods, to reviews, etc. Anything sims related! Woohoo!

So to start off, here's a crumby picture of one of my couples, Holden and Kristen. (They have a baby on the way!)

Also-I WILL be posting most if not all of the cc I use, but until then, feel free to as if you would like to know! It's a bit hard for me to keep up with all the cc I have because I download that stuff like crazy, but I'll try to find it all :) It'll just be a bit tedious and take a while, so it won't be up too soon.
